This draft was pretty hard in my opinion. Let me know what you guys think.
Round 1 I caught the mistake of not also attacking with rhox brute so no need to point that out
Hey guys. Did an acr draft, and i havent been playing that much magic so i made quite a few mistakes from my rustiness.
*REMINDER: 8 VIEWS tomorrow at 5PM EST. ZZZ SWISS
:-O Yes, a draft by me finally. I did an ACR draft because a) i have sets of that and b) the 84 queue was at 5. Ended up with an ok deck that preformed pretty well.
A note about the quality of vids. I recorded these at home on a crt monitor (cringe), so it squashes the video to a square, making it extremely grainy. I did produce and upload the HD version, so if you want to view this in the HIGHEST QUALITY then i suggest you download it. Hefty file sizes, but worth it if you can do it. Viddler is currently in beta testing for HD so hopefully that comes around soon.
Posting these cause its better than nothing. Seems like content wise when it rains it pours. I am spending like $400 on paper M10 and having lost my meager pack reserve by losing in the first round both times it might be a while before I can post another vid.
I need to re-watch and see if ACR-9 rd1 is worth posting, but I was so frustrated with ACR-10 that I hit cancel instead of save when recording the video.
I feel like 9 was solid and should have at least won round one, but 10 was definitely terrible.
I wanted to do LRW but nothing was firing so here we have an ACR 4322.
This is exactly the kind of draft that I am bad at. Many branching points with similarly powered cards and the possibility to take good/bomby splash cards. There’s probably 4-5 different decks I could have ended up with.
It’s been a long while since I had time to post. I hope these vids make up for the absence. The draft produces a mediocre Esper deck. But, this proves that a mid level Esper deck is better than average against non-Esper. Enjoy!
Round One (HD)
This proved to be the most challenging round. Good draws with good cards proved to be vital.
Round Two (HD)
Illusionary Demon and Nemesis of Reason are MVPs.
Final Round (HD)
The last win was almost a forfeit on my side due to network connectivity. The network error was followed by an opponent error and win for me. Illusionary Demon brings the beats.
2 8-4′s with nothing to show from them. I really need to stop drafting ACR
