This is their response when I ask if the foil boosters can be used in sealed events.

I just want to know whether I should be cracking the ones I win damn it! I will probably sit on them till things become more clear.

Not sure how to feel about the payouts. What are these foil packs useful for?

I will still try one sealed, if I can't keep playing off of my winnings I won't buy any more though. This is all a bit worrying, if they are paying out less draftable (sealedable?) packs then there may be a shortage.
I wonder if any constructed events will be paying these out? If not this may take a turn for the worst.

Actually now that I look down at the bottom there will be a foil sealed showdown, so perhaps they will just reserve special PE's for the foil packs. I also forgot about the 64 mans, I would like to play a couple if possible.

I may indeed buy in a bit more.

Well I haven't played it yet but I still think it will be fun. I am just hoping I can mise 6 foil packs out of these events without too much hassle.

Do we need to get an invite to the showdown or can we just join on the 30th?

No invitation necessary, just need 6 foil boosters. Ie. The event will be huge. I just want the free Ajani Vengeant and some fun really. It would be nice to profit but it will be a crap shoot, sealed with so many people.

I am rethinking this whole foil sealed business. These packs are worth at least 6 tix at the moment, so basically I am paying more, to do the same thing, and it is harder to place.

...and then there is ajani. :S

I will have to give this some serious thought.
