Do you guys feel that block is slower than ACR? Just feels that way with
what seems to be fewer outlanders and blades. Esper also seems a little
weaker.

Ok, I don't know why I didn't run that Titan, he's not great, but he's beefy
which this deck was lacking. I guess it's Esper, but I'm not used to a 'glut'
at the 4 drop and not much higher. I found myself siding in the Suicidal a
fair amount. Seeing zero glassdust hulks and shieldmates is always sad
after opening a Sphinx. Biggest regrets in the draft were scavenger drake
over kathari remnant and sorcerer over thresher.
Matches
Match 1 - Naya
Game 1 - I'm on the draw and make a trailblazer on 3, Sorcerer on 4, and
Mask on 5. My opponent's first play is a Rhox Bodyguard, followed up by a
Firestoker. The racing begins. I have Visions for his Resounding Silence.
There's some bouncing of Stun Sniper with an Alchemist and Excap
recursion to win comfortably. Ended up +5 cards thanks to Mask.
Game 2 - Basically I get owned by a Stun Sniper and Valeron Outlander
with a Sigil of Nayan Gods. Never could find mana number 8 for my
Steelwind as I whiffed on my Architect.
Game 3 - I'm on the play. I make Trailblazer on 3 and Mask on 4. My
opponent has Soul's fire/Topan to kill my combo after 1 hit. He then
fractures my Mask. I play a Zombie which keeps him from attacking.
There's some bounce games with an Alchemist and Unsummon which keep
me in control. Terminate finds his Cavern Thoctar. He draws white mana
too late and the game is over.
Match 2 vs Jund
This guy wrecked me in 2 games. Corpse connoisseur, Shambling Remains,
Vithian Stinger, Banefire, Carrion Thrash, Viscera Dragger, Bloodbraid,
Deadshot Minotaur, Branching bolt, Deathraider etc. I really messed up
game 1. Couldn't draw draw my Sphinx in either game. Excap pretty useless.
Match 3 - Bant with maybe minor splashes
Game 1 - I don't have the replay. I lost is all that I know.
Game 2 - I'm on the play. I make a stormblade on 2, but my opponent
makes Turn 2 and 3 Sureblades and Trailblazer (turn 4) but missed his land
drop. I make my Skyclaw on 5 to stop his beats. He's still stuck on 3 with
no red. I drop a Suicidal Charge to 3-1 him.
Game 3 - I'm on the play. Turn 2 Storm, 3 Deft Dualist. My opponent
declined a trade of Stormblade for Talon Trooper to start a race, I guess
wanting to trade his Screecher in hand instead. I alchemist it back and
drop him to 12. He holds back to block having replayed the Screecher and
a Dispellers Capsule. I excap the Trooper, swing with the team trading
Alchemist for Screecher dropping him to 7. He kills my Stormblade and
passes. I drop him to 5 and find find a strix to pass his matca rioters and a
terminate to end the game.
So, 2-1 overall losing to the draft winner. Really wanted to drop the Steel
Wind at least once, but oh well. Match 2 I played poorly, but overall it was
fun. There were some things that I'd change, but I earned more than I
would in the other draft types.
