Only pick I don't really like is deny reality over fiery fall, I think I'd take the fall every time.

i disagree with both of you skullmulcher is 100 percent the pick there you have broodmate and you dont have much that says go blue so i think taking the mulcher would have been best

No good devour targets, I'd just take the fall.

That is a tough pack i suppose and for me it goes beyond that specific pick. Heads up I agree fieryfall is better but if I take that it pushes me towards a BR base for the fall to be at its best. I'd strongly prefer to be base UB splashing red. I ended up only playing 1mountain 1forest 1plains in my final build which i will post when the server goes up. This is basically foresight as I just have a plan and am familiar with which archetypes are most successful for me and really deny reality is not that far off in power level.


Skullmulcher would be a strange pick as
1. It works with nothing i have and is a card that is only valuable when you have token generators
2. It is green. At this point I'm playing black as a main color which doesn't pair with green (BU or BR).

I have to say I'd take the fiery fall even if I intended red as a splash. Its 6 mana so its not like I'm worried about having red all that early anyway. I don't think your very likely to cycle it in your deck but I like to maximize my bomb removal options.

P2P7 I think I'd really have to consider Mask of Riddles as I don't really think you need the Wretched Banquet. Though you do have a fairly low creature count with a few guys that if you've cast them you likely already won so its possible its also not really needed.

Good deck. Agreed with fiery fall over deny reality. Deny reality is really only your first UB card. I know you like the UB base mana, but even so fiery fall can end up being removal in the end. I think the fall leaves you more open.

P3P5: Why did you take soul manipulation over armillary sphere? At this point you have 2 naya panoramas (which only fix for RG) and 2 borderposts. I dont think that is good enough for 4 color (which is what you were at that point).

Yeah, forgot about the spire. Even so id still take sphere.

Yeah i'm not sure about that pick still, maybe I was getting to fancy trying to get into B/U. My mana base was pretty mediocre. shock my be a little intense considering they are fairly close in power level (unless you don't think that is true?). I think the fall is the right pick though.

I was kind of worried about killing people when i was in pack 3 as my deck was so defensive I was going to have to win off of my bombs alone. I thought about that pick for a long time and talked myself into taking soul manipulation as it functions as an excellent defensive card and can more importantly regrow my 2 win conditions. I ended getting passed a late sphinx which made me really regret taking the manipulation as I just had 2 panoramas, spire, and some borderposts. I think taking manipulation was reasonable at that point but yeah that is a debatable 1 too.
