Well with 2 tabled creepers it's reasonable to expect grixis. So I can understand why you went for the deny reality. But you're obviously going to play the dragon so removal that's fixing for your 4c deck seems like the obvious choice. It's like being 3c landfall and taking hookmaster over harrow.

Now all that said, yes I have a bias against deny. It's my "always good against me, never good for me" card. And I'm still bitter about that one round where it hit both of my borderposts in consecutive games.

Yeah fall was the right pick but just to clarify I didn't want to be "grixis" I wanted to be BR/(x-xxx) or UB/(x-xxx).
The strategy I use for alara is 2base colors + splashing. So your example is a little off, I get what your saying but you wouldn't want harrow when you just have 4 forests in your deck. Fiery fall you wouldn't mind with 4 mountains so much and it was right to take it p2p1.

I think Deny Reality is stronger than Fiery Fall in terms of power level, and if you don't consider mana requirements.
