the deck seems retardedly powerful. the pick that i don't really like is p2p3, which i think should have been metallurgeon over the sphere. it's pretty good on its ow,n but in a dedicated esper deck it makes combat almost impossible for your opponent once it comes online.

How did you do?
Your deck would be ridiculous in ACR. However, in ALA Block not so much. Noticed that Esper gets shafted quite hard. I would not doubt your deck losing to Grixis or Jund. Saying that, I still think this deck should be a finals contender.

I know I made it to the finals. I either split or won but I don't remember which. I won most of my games off sanctum gargoyle card advantage and chaining. Usually call to heel is not a very good card to play, however this deck made it awesome.

I can't really think of any reason that esper would be shafted in alara block. It has never been a very deep shard and doesn't support more then a few players. Black is my 3rd color so I didn't want to splash blister beetle or any other average black cards. I may of sided it in after seeing multiple x/1s. I like consistent decks.
